What makes Radical Wax different?

90% of all surfboard waxes are made from a toxic mix of petrochemicals, limestone filler and sythetic scents. Each of these damages the planet when they are manufacturered, washed back into the sea or end up in landfill. Radical Wax is made from fruit waxes, vegetable oils and tree resins - 100% sustainable ingredients from organic farms in Southeast Asia.

What is the difference between a base coat and a top coat?

Our base coat is our hardest wax and is applied to a clean unwaxed board to form a foundation of bumps and grip. We have 4 water temperature specific top coats that can then be applied on top of the base coat to create tack and hold. Our cold water wax is the softest but will feel harder than ‘traditional waxes’ as it does not contain paraffin.

Who uses Radical Wax?

We are very proud to be The Official Wax of Team England showing our wax performs at the highest level, but we love knowing that any surfer of any level can use our wax and not damage the planet while surfing. This wax is for everyone!
